“What the world needs now, is love sweet love, it’s the only thing that there’s just too little of…” This song has been going round and round in my head, so on a day like today I thought it would be appropriate to share this beautiful wedding. Full of outpourings of love towards one another and care for the environment, this day took place at Cape Cornwall with the reception at Plan-it Earth. Angela & John have a connection so obvious that going through their images again brought me to tears; their simple and very DIY wedding with minimal impact on the environment strips everything back to what marriage and love is all about. Being with the people you love, in a place that you care about and celebrating life, love and happiness together. They literally did everything themselves – the decor, the awe inspiring cake, the music was by friends – all bar the spectacular seasonal flowers by the lovely Vanessa at The Flower Mill and the scrumptious Paella was by PQ catering. It was a day for sharing and caring, gentle caresses and dancing in the rain, whispered promises and gentle affection. It was unfussy and elegant. It gives me goosebumps thinking back to their beautiful day. I hope this lifts your spirits…
