Overwhelmed would be an understatement – I still can’t believe that I won Bespoke Wedding Photographer of the year in the South West Wedding Awards – If I’m honest I sort of thought I’d dreamt it (or that I’d made it into the matrix and made up my own awards to win) but this pretty piece of glass is still on the shelf and I am just so bloody grateful to all of my super wonderful couples who voted for me (then made me weep after reading all their comments). It has taken me a week to digest it really as there are so many amazingly talented photographers in the south west. For me it’s not really about being the best in the area (I don’t believe that to be true for one second) it’s about being the best fit for my couples and this award must mean I’m getting that bit right – and that is the bit I’m most excited and proud about – not least because it’s the only thing that really matters. When I set up this little freckle of mine, all I wanted was to find the right people and the right couples to find me, by being honest and as much myself as possible. I am so happy to be doing this and can only hope that I continue to be found by my favourite kind of people; those who laugh easily, love hard and have generous hearts. Amazing photography and really made us feel relaxed during our day. Engagement shoot allowed us to meet long before our big day so Emma could really understand what we wanted.

Emma from Freckle is the best photographer and a wonderful addition to anyone’s wedding day. She arrived early because she was excited to get started and even stayed beyond the time we paid her for out of good will to capture the first dance as we ran late. The photos are beautiful and she really captured the spirit and fun of the day. I have since recommended her to a friend who has also booked her for their upcoming wedding. I could not recommended her highly enough, and all of this for a very reasonable price to top it off!

Emma was fantastic, from the minute we met on our engagement shoot the nerves disappeared and we had fun. From the beautiful pictures taken that day we knew we were going to have some special pictures on the big day. We had the best day and Emma didn’t feel like just the photographer, more like one of our lovely guests. Emma has a great eye for where and how a picture might work and we have so many lovely pictures of us and all our guests to treasure. Most probably the best money we’ve ever spent, highly recommended.

Emma is amazing, all our guests said how fabulous she was. She blended into our wedding so easily, was like having a great friend take our photos. She put so much passion into what she does and she went beyond what was asked. Had a great time on our pre wedding shoot as well. The amount of commemts we have had regarding our photos has been overwhelming. They are gorgeous. I love the personal touch too with sending us our USB with photos in a lovely wooden box, personal letter and some already printed photos of us. Which we thought was a lovely thing for her to do. Emma was extremely professional and was also able to guide us in a very reassuring way. We were always relaxed around her and were absolutely delighted with the photos that she produced for us. We have also had a lot of great comments from our friends and family as they have also been impressed by the photos.

Pete and I were thrilled with her work and commitment from first correspondence, to pre-wedding shoot and the big day, through to the beautifully designed albums which she got to us in time for us to give them as Christmas presents. Emma’s photography is possibly the most skillful I have ever seen. The photos themselves were incredible, her manner was perfect and we could not have asked for more from her! She captured the essence of our wedding day in such a relaxed manner and gave us the most beautifully natural photos in a timely manner. This was the same when we had our introductory engagement shoot. Emma was just lovely to have around and managed people/events beautifully. Wonderful photography- captured all the best moments of the day whilst being so discreet. We didn’t want intrusive photographers and Emma managed to get amazing photos and we hardly saw her! Great value when compared with other photographers. Emma was so lovely, friendly and helpful, especially for two people who aren’t used/ are very self conscious of being photographed. She made it easy to be ourselves in front of the camera and the shots are very natural and unposed as we wanted. All in all, I’m so glad we had Emma as our photographer, it felt like she was a friend we’d known for years and the service was exceptional, plus we liked the fact she had an environmentally friendly approach!
Included in the price was a great engagement photo shoot. She made us feel very comfortable and have fun with it. On the wedding day itself we barely noticed she was there, but she managed to capture some great reactions and moments on camera. We have been showing the photos off to people and their jaws drop!

Where do we start, Emma of Freckle Photography is quite simply amazing. My husband and I are both quite awkward when it comes to photographs, but Emma put us at ease straight away. Her beautiful photographs captured every essence of our day in such fantastic detail, catching us and our guests sharing happy moments from ceremony to celebrations. Everyone marveled at her friendly, professional nature and her wonderfully natural photos. We are delighted that we have such perfect mementos of our happy day!
Emma was truly truly fabulous, my day was shown as the perfect story. She made every moment shine in each of her pictures, even on the cloudy moments. She was extremely relaxed and made herself invisible when needed. She was terribly welcoming, ever so smiley and more importantly, professional, which made her a joy to have by your side for those personal moments (especially if you’re not very comfortable around a camera, which neither of us were/are). The products she supplies at the end are absolutely stunning, including the gorgeous wooden USB I carry around with my all the time just to show off some pics 😉 1 would 150% recommend her to anyone who is not just having bridal pictures but any occasion you want to capture perfectly forever.
