This love story started ten years ago. Lara and Dan have been together since school, they have a beautiful daughter Elsie and make the most lovely little family. They chose to seal their commitment for one another on the cliffs at Maker Heights. It was a super hot sunny Sunday, seagulls were circling above in the deepest of clear blue skies, promises of forever were made surrounded by beaming friends and family. Their wedding was full of colour, laughter and happy, salty, seaside tears. Lara and her friends and family pretty much decorated and created everything themselves, from the colourful DIY decor in the marquee, to the naked cake. The beautiful blooms were sourced from ‘wild by design‘ who are a wonderful organisation (do pop over to their website to have a peek at what they do – it is incredible). It seems to me the only things Lara didn’t make herself were the outfits – she got her dress at Pirohuette after reading about Jess and Graham’s wedding and seeing Jess’ stunning lace creation, Lara popped along and found her ethereal dream of a dress. I loved being a part of this day, it was laid back loveliness at it’s best. Lara, Dan and Elsie – thanks for having me along for the ride 🙂 xxxxxx
Lara and Dan’s wedding was featured on not one, but two fantastic wedding blogs – Mr & Mrs Unique over here in the UK and they went international getting featured on The Little Wedding Corner in Germany!
