My Style
Seamlessly blending a quiet documentary style with gently directed portraits to give you heirloom imagery. The works sits between discreet candid captures and editorial photographic art, all with truth and authentic feeling at the heart.
My Story
Combining my love of art and science, I found photography back in 2000. Days in the darkroom galvanised this passion, followed by more days of chasing the light (and the waves) which led me to the South West.
My Method
Letting the story present itself and finding the energy. Seeking the connections. Crafting with light. Nudges where needed. Finding gold in the inbetweens. Telling the big stories and the subtle stories. Carving out space for you to lean into one another. Sprinkling joy into the corners.

I'm Emma — i'm a MOTHER, WIFE, DREAMER, NATURE LOVING, BAREFOOT-wanderer and CREATIVE to the core.
I’m best described as a relaxed photographer who will make you feel comfortable in front of the lens. Akin to a soft woollen jumper. I create a space for you to just be yourselves. I work alongside my couples and clients to craft images that are authentically them — brimming with genuine affection and candid moments blended with gentle direction to elevate the portraits and give an editorial edge.
